Director goes back to school

After many years programming in various languages (such as Assembly, Pascal, Fortran 77, Quickbasic, Visual Basic, C# etc.), AbsoluteSpirit’s director went back to the classroom recently to hone his skills in the .Net framework area.

He went on a boot camp to Delhi, India for 6 weeks where he passed two significant Microsoft examinations i.e. .Net 4 Framework Application development and SharePoint 2010 Application Developer.
Some people may have thought this was an unnecessary thing to do after so many years “on the tools” but the subject of software design has got so broad now that a structured approach to learning is incredibly important.

Alan studied at the renowned Koenig Solutions institute and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He gained more than just the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist qualification because it really opened his eyes to the real potential of the design environment he has always felt competent in. Koenig was chosen because Alan had already sent three employees from his previous company, Kodit, there in 2010 and had been extremely impressed at their knowledge when they returned.
